About Us
OUR ORGANIZATION:
Colorado
Wildland Fire Service was started in 2004 as a private contractor for the Federal
Forest Service. We are based in Pueblo, Colorado. Our firefighters have fought
wildland fires all over the United States. Our fire chief has over
thirty years of experience in wildland fires. Our department has participated
in events such as the 9/11 memorial ceremony at the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk
of Pueblo, and the Veteran’s Day service at the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of
Pueblo. Colorado Wildland Fire Service has assisted other training facilities
with their training as well.
